Shortly before 3:00 a.m. on January 4, 2026, Clarenville RCMP received a call from a concerned citizen about a prohibited driver operating a vehicle in the area of Goobies. The driver was known to the caller and is currently prohibited from driving Canada-wide. A short time later, the vehicle was located in Sunnyside, and a traffic stop was conducted.
