(Aug 3rd)
A watermain break is causing a temporary water shut-off on Patrick Street in downtown St. John’s this morning.
The City says water will be shut off from approximately 11:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. today, affecting Patrick Street between Water Street and Hamilton Avenue.
Properties in the area may experience a loss of water, low water pressure or discoloured water during the shut-off. Residents who experience discoloured water are advised to run the cold water tap in a sink until the water clears.
If discoloured water persists, residents can contact Access St. John’s by calling 311 or 754-CITY (2489).
The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the watermain break.
