Due to inclement weather, Memorial University of Newfoundland has closed its St. John’s campuses for the morning, including the Childcare Centre. The closure applies to the St. John’s campus in St. John’s, the Marine Institute, and the Signal Hill Campus. A 59 year old man has received a licence suspension following a collision involving a city snowplow in St. John’s. At approximately 1:15 a.m. on February 18, Operational Patrol Services responded to a collision on Columbus Drive. It was reported that a driver had collided with a city snowplow operator.
