(July 22nd)

A two-vehicle collision caused some traffic delays in Mount Pearl on Wednesday morning after the vehicles collided at the intersection of Old Placentia Road and Richard Nolan Drive.

At around 9:45 a.m. on July 22th, emergency crews responded to reports of a collision at the busy intersection. Firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department arrived to find both vehicles in the intersection, each having sustained moderate to extensive damage as a result of the crash.

Firefighters assessed the occupants involved until paramedics arrived on scene. Paramedics also evaluated those involved, but no one required medical treatment or transportation to hospital. An SJRFD Captain confirmed there were no injuries.

Traffic through the intersection was slowed while emergency crews remained on scene and the damaged vehicles were cleared.
