RCMP INVESTIGATING BREAK & ENTER IN WESTERN NEWFOUNDLAND

Deer Lake RCMP is investigating a break and enter at a local business and are asking the public for information to help identify the person or people responsible.

At around 11:00 a.m. on July 7, police in Deer Lake responded to a commercial break and enter at the Peter’s Pizza restaurant on Chapel Hill Road. Officers determined that an unknown person or persons smashed a window, gained access inside the building and took cash before fleeing the scene.

The investigation is ongoing with assistance from RCMP Forensic Identification Services (FIS).
