RCMP INVESTIGATING TWO GROCERY STORE THEFTS INVOLVING SAME SUSPECT

(Oct 30th)

Glovertown RCMP are investigating two reported thefts at a grocery store in Gambo after surveillance cameras captured an individual believed to be responsible for both incidents.

Police say the first theft occurred on October 19, 2026, when an unknown individual entered the No Frills grocery store on J.R. Smallwood Boulevard, removed items from the shelves and left without paying.

The following day, October 20, a suspect believed by witnesses and police to be the same individual returned to the store and committed a similar offence.

Surveillance footage captured the individual wearing light-coloured pants, a black hooded jacket with white skulls, and a dark mask covering their face.

Witnesses also reported that the suspect has a tattoo on their left hand.

Glovertown RCMP are asking anyone with information about the thefts or the identity of the individual captured on surveillance footage to contact police at 709-533-2828.
