RNC CONDUCTING CRITICAL INCIDENT TRAINING IN GOULDS TOMORROW

(Oct 27th)

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) will be conducting critical incident training in the Goulds area of St. John’s on Wednesday, October 28.

The training will take place along Power’s Road between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with an increased police presence expected throughout the area.

The RNC says residents may see members of the Tactics and Rescue Unit, Police Dog Services and Traffic Services, as well as remotely piloted aircraft systems (drones).

All activities are planned and monitored as part of scheduled training designed to strengthen emergency response capabilities.

Members of the public are asked to avoid the area during the training period. Signage will be in place, and the RNC is reminding residents that the activities are planned.

The RNC thanked the public in advance for their co-operation and understanding.
