RNC INVESTIGATING HIT & RUN IN TORBAY

(Sept 4th)

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred Thursday evening in Torbay.

At approximately 6:25 p.m. on September 3rd, RNC officers responded to a report of a collision on Lower Street. Officers located the driver who reported being struck and observed minor damage to their vehicle. The driver sought medical attention for what are believed to be minor injuries.

Shortly afterward, police received information that the vehicle involved in the collision had left the scene and was located on Jesse Place.

Officers attended the area and located the vehicle unoccupied. The vehicle was seized. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
