Single-Vehicle Motorcycle Crash in Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove Sends One to Hospital

Petty Harbour-Maddox Cove N.L. — Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Maddox Cove Road on Saturday evening, September 13th, shortly before 5:00 p.m.

Upon arrival, first responders found an injured female on the ground. It was determined that she had been traveling into Petty Harbour from Maddox Cove when she lost control of her motorcycle on gravel and fell.

The motorcycle sustained minor damage in the incident. The female operator, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.

As emergency personnel attended to the injured individual and managed the scene, traffic between the Harbour Lookout and Ocean View Boulevard was temporarily closed.
