Single-Vehicle Rollover on Indian Meal Line in Torbay Late Wednesday Night

TORBAY, NL — Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Indian Meal Line in Torbay late Wednesday night, September 17th, just before midnight.

Firefighters with the Torbay Volunteer Fire Department (TVFD), along with personnel from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) and NL Health Services, arrived on the scene minutes after the incident was reported.

The vehicle was found on its driver side in front of a residence just east of Riverview Place. It had sustained extensive damage in the crash.

Paramedics assessed one male at the scene; however, he was not transported to hospital. No serious injuries were reported.

Traffic on Indian Meal Line was temporarily closed as emergency crews managed the scene and worked to remove the vehicle from the ditch.
