VEHICLE ENDS UP IN DITCH AFTER OUTER RING COLLISION

On Saturday night (Nov 7th), At approximately 9:45 p.m., personnel with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) and NL Health Services were called to the westbound lanes of the Outer Ring Road between Allandale Road and the Team Gushue Highway for reports of a collision.

Upon arrival, first responders located a sedan with front-end damage on the roadway. The vehicle that had been rear-ended was found in a ditch with extensive damage to its rear end.

Firefighters and paramedics assessed those involved in the collision. There were no serious injuries.

The collision resulted in traffic delays, with the westbound lanes reduced to a single lane for a period of time.
