FEMALE APPREHENDED ON OUTSTANDING WARRANT

A 36-year-old woman was arrested in St. John’s early Wednesday morning after police discovered she was wanted on an outstanding warrant.


At approximately 4:25 a.m. on July 29th, Officers with the RNC’s Patrol Services conducted a traffic stop in the centre city area of St. John’s. During the stop, officers recognized a female occupant of the vehicle and knew there was an outstanding warrant for her arrest.


The 36-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the St. John’s city lockup, where she was held for a court appearance.


She has been charged with failing to appear
