Four Residents Displaced After Residential Fire on Neptune Road in St John’s

St. John’s, N.L, Four people have been displaced following a residential fire on Neptune Road in St. John’s Sunday afternoon
At approximately 12:45 p.m., firefighters responded to the scene near Bacclieu Street, where they encountered an active fire on the exterior of the home. The blaze had begun spreading up the outside wall and into the eaves and attic of the structure. Crews moved quickly to contain the fire, managing to knock down the flames within minutes of arrival. A ladder truck was then used to access and extinguish any remaining hotspots in the upper areas of the home.
Fire officials confirmed to The Bulletin that four residents were displaced as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported. The fire caused extensive damage to the home’s exterior and attic, with additional smoke and water damage reported inside the residence.
There is no information available at this time regarding the cause of the fire.
