House Destroyed by Early Morning Fire in Saint Lunaire-Griquet

Saint Lunaire-Griquet, N.L. – On June 11th, A residential home in Saint Lunaire-Griquet was completely destroyed by fire in the early morning hours of Wednesday.


At approximately 1:00 a.m., the Saint Lunaire-Griquet Volunteer Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a structure fire within the town limits. Upon arrival, firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke visible in the night sky.


All occupants of the home managed to escape without injury. However, reports indicate that the family's pet or pets did not survive the blaze.


Fire crews worked to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures, but the home was declared a total loss. No injuries have been reported.
