Kitchen Fire Reported at Jack Astor’s in Downtown St John's

St. John's N.L - Firefighters with the St. John's Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) responded to a reported kitchen fire at Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill in downtown St. John’s just after midnight on Friday morning.

The restaurant was closed at the time of the incident, with only a minimal number of staff reported to be inside the building. At this time, there is no confirmation on whether anyone was injured in the fire, and officials have not released details regarding the cause.

The extent of the damage and potential disruptions to Jack Astor’s operations—or to other businesses located within the same building—are currently unknown.

Emergency responders remained at the scene into the early morning hours, assessing the situation and working to secure the premises.
