43-Year-Old Man Charged with Impaired Driving in Mount Pearl
A 43-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges following an incident in Mount Pearl on Saturday evening. At approximately 7:00 p.m., police responded to a report involving a suspected impaired driver in the city. Officers located the vehicle and, following an investigation, arrested the driver. The man has been charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration of .80 or over. His vehicle was impounded.

Man Arrested at Health Sciences Centre Following Morning Disturbance
At approximately 8:00 a.m (Jan 20), officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) responded to the Health Sciences Centre after hospital security requested assistance with an unwelcomed individual on the premises. Upon arrival, officers arrested the man. He is facing charges of causing a disturbance, uttering threats, and failing to comply with a probation order. The accused was taken into custody, and the investigation is continuing.
