74-YEAR-OLD WOMAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING EAST END DISTURBANCE
(Feb 20) A 74-year-old woman was taken into custody Thursday night following a disturbance at a residence in the east end of St. John’s. At approximately 9:58 p.m. on February 19, 2026, members of Operational Patrol Services responded to the call. Following an investigation, officers arrested the woman in connection with property damage. She was conveyed to the St. John’s lockup. The matter is now before the courts.

MAN CHARGED AFTER THREE STAFF MEMBERS ASSAULTED ON GEORGE STREET
(Feb 20) A 28-year-old man is facing multiple charges after an early-morning assault at a George Street business. At approximately 2:20 a.m. on February 20, 2026, members of Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of an assault. Police learned that a male patron had allegedly assaulted three staff members during the incident, resulting in one person being transported to hospital for treatment of injuries.
