A 41-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night in the east end of St. John’s after being located by patrol officers. At approximately 10:00 p.m. on February 25, 2026, members of Operational Patrol Services observed the male walking along a street and were aware of an outstanding fail-to-appear warrant for his arrest. Officers also had additional charges pending. He was arrested on the warrant and further charged with 12 counts of theft. The male was held in custody to appear

A 29-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night in connection with an assault at a downtown St. John’s business. At approximately 10:00 p.m. on February 25, 2026, members of Operational Patrol Services responded to the report. The suspect had left the scene prior to police arrival but was located a short time later. The male was charged with assault and breaches of a release order. The victim sustained minor injuries. He was held in custody to appear in court the following mor
