MAN ARRESTED AFTER THEFT FROM MOUNT PEARL STORE

A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a report of a theft at Coleman’s in Mount Pearl.

At approximately 1:02 p.m. on August 21st, Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a man stealing product from the store.

Officers attended the scene and conducted an investigation, resulting in the arrest of the 42-year-old man.

He was charged with theft under and breach of his release order.

The accused was transported to the city lock-up, where he awaits his court appearance.
