MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING WOMAN AT GATHERING PLACE

A 31-year-old man has been charged with uttering threats following an incident at Gathering Place in St. John’s.


At approximately 6:48 p.m. on August 21st, Officers with the RNC’s Operational Patrol Services responded to a threats complaint at the location.


Officers determined that the man had threatened to cause harm to a woman at the same location.


The accused was arrested and charged with one count of uttering threats. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
