Man Arrested After Threats at St. John’s Medical Facility

A 30 year old man has been charged after allegedly threatening staff at a medical facility in St. John’s.

On February 17 at approximately 12:00 p.m., members of Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of threats at the facility. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect had become irate and allegedly threatened to harm staff members and security personnel.

Police arrested the man without incident. He was later released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer to a charge of uttering threats.

No injuries were reported.
