Man Arrested After West End Assault in St. John’s

A 38-year-old man has been charged following an assault in the west end of St. John’s.

At approximately 8:50 p.m. on February 18, 2026, members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of an assault at a residence in the area.

Following an investigation at the scene, officers arrested a 38-year-old male. He has been charged with assault.

The accused was transported to the St. John’s City Lockup and was held in custody to appear in court the following morning.
