St. John's Firefighters Extinguish Exterior Fire That Damaged Two Homes in the Goulds

St. John's, NL – July 28, Firefighters with the St. John's Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) responded to a residential fire on Gary Drive in the Goulds on Monday afternoon, after receiving report(s) just after 2:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, fire crews found a fire that had reportedly started on the ground and was climbing up the exterior wall of a home. Firefighters quickly deployed an attack line and were able to extinguish the fire.

Although the fire was brought under control quickly, it caused exterior damage to the primary residence as well as to a neighboring home. Fortunately, the fire did not extend into the interior of either home.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
