Structure Fire on Power’s Road in the Goulds Quickly Contained by Fire Crews

A structure fire erupted just before 10:00 p.m. on March 12th on Power’s Road in the Goulds. When crews arrived, they were met with a shed fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters from the St. John’s Regional Fire Department (SJRFD) and the Goulds Volunteer Fire Department worked quickly to bring the blaze under control. Fortunately, there were no nearby structures threatened by the fire, though trees in the vicinity were in close proximity to the blaze.

The status of any injuries is unknown at this time, and

authorities continue to monitor the scene to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
