$60,000 GRANT TO FUND NEW T’RAILWAY CROSSWALK IN MOUNT PEARL

The City of Mount Pearl has received a $60,000 grant from Trans Canada Trail to support the installation of a dedicated pedestrian crosswalk at the T’Railway crossing on Commonwealth Avenue.


The project will provide a dedicated connection across one of Mount Pearl’s busiest traffic corridors, improving safety and connectivity for trail users.


The new crosswalk will also address a long-standing gap in the city’s active transportation network.


The City thanked Trans Canada Trail for supporting the project and helping make the upgrade possible.
