TWO TRAFFIC STOPS LEAD TO VEHICLE IMPOUNDS

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) conducted two separate traffic stops October 7th, resulting in tickets being issued and both vehicles being impounded.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., members of Operational Patrol Services conducted a traffic stop. The 33-year-old driver was issued tickets for failing to transfer ownership and operating a vehicle without insurance. The vehicle was subsequently impounded.
Later that afternoon, at approximately 2:20 p.m., officers conducted another traffic stop in the City’s Centre.
The 31-year-old driver was issued tickets for failing to transfer ownership, operating a vehicle without insurance, and driving while suspended. The vehicle was also impounded.
