On Wednesday night (Oct 7th), at approximately 11:00 p.m; Members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision in the centre-city of St. John’s.
No injuries were reported at the time, however, both vehicles were inoperable.
Police determined that the 18-year-old driver of one of the vehicles had consumed alcohol and blew a warning on a roadside screening device.
As a result, the driver’s licence was suspended for seven days and the vehicle was impounded.
