ACCESS CENTRE TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO HEAT

The Access Centre at St. John’s City Hall, located at 10 New Gower Street, is temporarily closed to the public effective immediately due to excessive heat and humidity inside the building.


The City says the building’s air conditioning system is currently not operating.


Access Centre staff remain available to assist residents through several alternative methods, including by calling 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489).


The City says an update on when the Access Centre will reopen will be provided later today.


Residents are being thanked for their patience, with the City apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure.
