Evening Collision Disrupts Traffic at Burgeo and Ferryland Intersection

Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle collision early Wednesday evening (October 1st) at the intersection of Burgeo Street and Ferryland Street West.

The incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m., prompting a response from first responders. Upon arrival, crews found a sedan with significant driver-side damage, consistent with a t-bone style collision. Another vehicle, also believed to be involved, was located on the side of Ferryland Street West.

One female occupant was assessed by paramedics in the back of an ambulance but was later released at the scene.

Traffic in the area was initially closed in both directions for several minutes. Once emergency vehicles were repositioned, a single lane of traffic was reopened, allowing vehicles to pass through slowly.

No serious injuries were reported.
