Motorcyclist Sent to Hospital Following Vehicle-Motorcycle Collision in Paradise

Paradise, N.L. - Emergency crews responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a sedan on Topsail Road in Paradise on Thursday night, shortly after 9:00 p.m.

The incident occurred in front of the Tim Hortons on Topsail Road in the eastbound lanes. Upon arrival, first responders found the motorcycle operator lying on the ground. A sedan was also present at the scene and appeared to have been making a left-hand turn onto Topsail Road to head westbound prior to the collision. The motorcycle operator was assessed at the scene and later transported to hospital with injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening.

Traffic in the area was slowed as emergency personnel responded and the scene was cleared.
