REID FOUND AFTER 45 DAYS FOLLOWING TCH COLLISION

(Oct 4th)

The family announced early Sunday morning, October 4th, that Reid had been located after spending 45 days on the run following a collision on the Trans Canada Highway near Gander on August 21st.

According to the family, Reid took approximately 10 minutes to recognize his mother before returning to his usual self.

The family says Reid has lost some weight and was found dirty and matted, but otherwise appears to be unharmed.

The family, and several others, had spent the past 45 days searching for Reid and providing updates as sightings were reported throughout the Gander area.

In their latest update, the family thanked everyone who had searched, shared information, checked cameras and supported them throughout the search.

“WE GOT HIM!!!!!” the family wrote in the October 4th’s update, adding that Reid was already in the car on the way home.
