RNC Arrests 42-Year-Old Man For Impaired Driving and Related Offences in Labrador City

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has charged a man with impaired driving related offences in Labrador City.
Operational Patrol Services received a report of a possible impaired driver around 8 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 22). The suspect vehicle was subsequently located and a traffic stop conducted.
The 42-year-old male driver was arrested for impaired driving. He was also charged with refusing to provide a breath sample, resisting arrest, and uttering threats. The driver had his vehicle impounded and licence suspended. He was held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
The RNC continues to urge the public to report dangerous and impaired driving directly to police by calling 911.
