Single-Vehicle Collision on Campbell Avenue

Just after 2 a.m. on October 7, the St. John’s Regional Fire Department and Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a single-vehicle collision on Campbell Avenue, between Blackmarsh Road and LeMarchant Road.


The vehicle struck a construction sign and a utility pole, sustaining moderate damage. Campbell Avenue was reduced to one lane while emergency crews worked, but due to the early morning hour, traffic impact was minimal.


No serious injuries were reported, and officials have not released any further details.
