Two Vehicles Sustain Extensive Damage Following Afternoon Crash in St. John’s

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Old Pennywell Road and Brier Avenue in St. John’s on Tuesday afternoon, November 18, following a two-vehicle collision that occurred just after 2:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, firefighters and paramedics found two vehicles with extensive damage in the middle of the intersection. At least two individuals were assisted by first responders and were able to walk to a nearby ambulance for further assessment. It remains unclear at this time whether anyone was transported to hospital.

Traffic in the area slowed significantly as police officers and tow operators worked to manage the scene and remove the damaged vehicles. By approximately 4:00 p.m., the scene had been cleared and traffic had returned to normal flow.
