SUV OVERTURNS ON WATERFORD BRIDGE ROAD

Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover on Waterford Bridge Road in the area of Nottingham Drive early Sunday morning.

At approximately 5:00 a.m. on October 4th, personnel with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary and NL Health Services were called to the scene.

Upon arrival, responders located an SUV overturned on its roof. Firefighters and paramedics assessed the situation and the individual or individuals involved.

It remains unknown whether anyone sustained injuries.

Waterford Bridge Road was closed for approximately one hour while crews remained on scene. The vehicle was later removed by a tow operator.
