TURKEY TEA 10K DRAWS HUNDREDS OF PARTICIPANTS

It was yet another successful year for the annual Body Quest Turkey Tea 10K, with hundreds of participants taking part in the weekend road race on Sunday, October 4th

The NLAA-sanctioned, chip-timed 10-kilometer race got underway at 8:00 a.m., beginning at the corner of Glencoe Drive and Kyle Avenue in Donovans Industrial Park.

The fast, point-to-point course brought participants through the area before finishing at the Park Place Community Centre on Park Avenue in Mount Pearl.

Runners had a beautiful clear sunny morning, temperatures were on a little bit of the colder side.

The annual event is hosted by the Paradise Running Club and sponsored by Body Quest Health and Wellness Centre.
