TRUCK DESTROYED BY FIRE ON NORTHERN POND ROAD

(Oct 4th)

On Sunday morning (Oct. 4), at approximately 10:30 a.m., firefighters with the St. John’s Regional Fire Department and officers from the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called to the scene of a vehicle fire on Northern Pond Road, a few kilometres west of the Trans-Canada Highway/Northern Pond Road interchange.

When officers arrived, they located a charred pickup truck that was still smoldering. The vehicle had been completely destroyed by the fire.
