THREATS AT VICTORIA PARK LEAD TO ARREST

On Tuesday afternoon (Oct 6th), At approximately 2:55 p.m; Members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary’s Operational Patrol Services responded to a threats complaint at Victoria Park in St. John’s.
The suspect had left the area when officers arrived.
Approximately one hour later, police were called back to the location and arrested a 23-year-old male.
The man was conveyed to the St. John’s lockup and charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
